WHO ARE WE?

Jay Birkenshaw

For over three decades Jay has been at the forefront of creative design, innovative thinking and problem solving solutions. He attended the highly prestigious Camberwell College of Art and Design, then gained a degree in bespoke jewellery and small metal work. He’s then used his professional knowledge and experience in providing home renovation solutions.

He ran a successful plumbing business on the south coast of England for over a decade. He relocated to France and established a successful and independent plumbing business, installing kitchens and bathrooms and bespoke tiling solutions.

Jay is committed to delivering high quality projects, with attention to detail. Jay will go the extra mile to make sure there is 100% customer satisfaction before a project is completed.

Pete Birkenshaw

I am Pete Birkenshaw, the Head of Security for JB Plumbing and Renovation. I was born and bred in Paris, and am a pedigree Parson Russell Terrier. When I was young, I decided to relocate to Deux-Sevres and became Jay’s security director.

Since then, I attend and secure every location Jay works at. I base myself in the van – better known as my mobile kennel. I am very much a people dog and love meeting new people. However, be warned, poke your fingers through the open window, I might have a tasty nibble!

Away from work, I love and enjoy long bike rides with Jay, gentle ear rubs and can never say no to a bit of tasty chicken.
